Benchmark Hockey is hosting a five-day camp that will be held at South Kent School. The goal of the camp is to provide boys and girls to develop their hockey skills on and off the ice, with coaches who have coached at the youth, junior, collegiate (NCAA Division 1 and 3), and professional level.

Benchmark Hockey's boarding camp will be a terrific opportunity for your son or daughter to develop their hockey skills on and off the ice. We will provide kids in the area and from abroad with exposure to excellent coaching, while enjoying the beginning of summer with friends on and off the ice.

Camp Dates and Hours

The camp will be held for two weeks from June 25-30 and July 2-7. Boarding campers will arrive at 12PM on Sunday, June 25, 2023. If campers are traveling from abroad by themselves, we will coordinate a pick-up from one of the following airports: Hartford/Bradley International Airport (BDL), Westchester County/White Plains (HPN), New York Laguardia (LGA), or New York John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Once registered, campers will receive a confirmation email along with a schedule of on ice and off ice activities. If at any moment a question comes to mind, please don't hesitate to call us at: 860-671-7177.

Location and Amenities

The camp will be held at South Kent School. The facilities that the camp will use are Brown Gymnasium, John and Sandi Farr Field, Fathers Field, Guilder Dormitory, and the Admiral James and Sybil Stockdale arena.

Activities at the Camp

Campers will have three hours of on-ice instruction per day, and four hours of off-ice activities. On-ice and off-ice activities will be organized and supervised by our coaching staff.

Off-ice activities: stick handling games, shooting skill work, basketball, team building, dodge ball, whiffle ball, kick ball, soccer, frisbee, swimming, fishing, golf, street hockey, and much much more.
